We understand that plans change and life happens. These terms are designed to keep our cancellation arrangements simple and fair to patients, clinicians and the clinic. Please read them before booking an appointment.
Changing or cancelling your appointment
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments cancelled or rearranged with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a charge.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a £20 late-cancellation fee applies. In genuine exceptional circumstances, this fee may be waived at the Clinic Director’s discretion.
If you do not attend
If you do not attend your appointment and have not cancelled in advance, a £20 non-attendance fee applies. We keep this fee deliberately lower than the cost of your appointment. It helps us recognise the clinical time that was reserved for you while keeping our policy fair and proportionate.
Rebooking within 7 days
We understand that sometimes things simply don’t go to plan.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend, but then rebook and attend a replacement appointment within 7 calendar days of the original appointment, the £20 fee will be waived.
If you have already paid the £20 fee and subsequently attend a qualifying replacement appointment within 7 calendar days, we will refund the fee in full.
This is subject to suitable appointment availability.
Payment of cancellation fees
Where a late-cancellation or non-attendance fee is payable, we may send you a £20 invoice or payment request via SumUp.
If the fee is subsequently waived under the 7-day rebooking arrangement above, any £20 fee already paid will be refunded in full.

By booking an appointment with Ascent Physiotherapy & Wellness Limited, you agree to these Booking & Cancellation Terms.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your booking will apply to your appointment.
